This is actually what I do as part of my therapy. I put all the things I can't handle away in a very remote and secure location.
In fact, this song will make the exercise take less effort, because I can listen to it while I do it.

alone beneath the ocean with my grief

I'm descending to be docking with a caisson
a vast and distant adamantite vault
